NSW:Bikie attacked while lying airport floor

A Sydney court's been told Comanchero boss MICK HAWI and another man attacked ANTHONY
ZERVAS with bollards at Sydney Airport and a third man knelt down and punched him repeatedly
on the floor.

The 29-year-old was left bloodied and motionless .. and died a short time later.

Ten men linked to the Comanchero bikie gang are charged with murdering Mr ZERVAS on
March 22 last year.

Mr ZERVAS' brother PETER ZERVAS is also linked to the brawl at the airport and along
with two other members of the Hells Angels .. is charged with riot and affray over the
incident.

A committal hearing for the 13 men heard evidence today from a man known only as SP.

A former Comanchero nominee .. SP was at the airport on the day of the brawl and was
initially charged with Mr ZERVAS's murder.

But that charge has since been dropped and SP is now a prosecution witness.

He gave evidence today that he saw Mr ZERVAS grasping a pair of metal scissors as he
tried to attack Comanchero boss MICK HAWI at the airport on the day of his death.

A short time later SP told the court he saw HAWI and another man he knew to be a Comanchero
.. CHRISTIAN MENZIES .. both holding bollards and standing either side of Mr ZERVAS who
was on the floor.

SP said Mr ZERVAS was hit twice on the top of his head by HAWI and MENZIES.

As some of the Comanchero began to leave the airport .. SP told the court he saw another
Comanchero .. FARRES ABOUNADER .. kneel down on the floor beside Mr ZERVAS and punch him
in the stomach.
